Up here on Pößnitzberg, there is mostly peace and quiet interrupted only by the occasional hum or cluck of a chicken. The panoramic view is stunning, stretching far beyond the border to Slovenia. Our estate is nestled in the midst of this serene environment, surrounded by nature that takes on a Tuscan feel at sunset when the poplars are bathed in golden light, and an archaic quality when our vineyards, carefully tended to by Hannes Sabathi, are shrouded in mist. Regardless of the time of day or weather, the setting is always incredibly calming.
Soak up the sunshine, lounge by the pool, and gaze at the buzzards circling silently in the blue sky above the picturesque vineyards. You can also spot praying mantises or green lizards, take a leisurely stroll through the refreshing oak forests reminiscent of Asterix, or embark on an invigorating mountain bike ride through the Tuscan hills. The region is famous for its exquisite food and drink, adding to the allure of this charming locale. And if you fully embrace the southern Styrian way of life, you may even experience the rare and precious feeling of contentment.
